Learning to drive with anxiety 

There are some simple things you can do to help reduce your anxiety about
driving. We’ve included them in our guide for anxious learner drivers HERE. We hope it helps you to have a happier, successful driving experience.

If you’re feeling anxious about more than just driving, or if you’re worried about your mental health and wellbeing, there are organisations who can help:

  1. You can visit the Mind website for advice and support or call their info line on 0300 123 3393
  2. You can call the CALM Zone helpline from 5pm to midnight, every day on 0800 58 58, or use their webchat at  
  3. You can speak to a mental health professional or access 24-hour advice and support through the NHS urgent mental health helpline
  4. If you’re under the age of 18, you can call Childline on 0800 1111 or visit their website
