Why do I need to change my New Driver app?
We’re making things simpler! We’re merging the New Driver app into our main Veygo app so you can access everything in one place. To continue tracking your journeys and remain covered you’ll need to make the switch.
What do I need to do?
If you already have the ‘Veygo by Admiral’ app:
- You may be prompted to update the app—please make sure you do so
- Allow the permissions needed when prompted by the app
- Once your app is updated, delete the old Veygo New Driver app from your phone
If you don’t have the ’Veygo by Admiral’ app:
- Download the ‘Veygo by Admiral’ app from the App Store or Google Play
- Log in using your existing details
- Once you’re all set up, delete the old ‘Veygo New Driver’ app from your phone
Why is this important?
If you don’t delete the ‘Veygo New Driver’ app after switching, your trips may be recorded twice, which could negatively impact your driving score. You’ll have 14 days to make the switch before the ‘Veygo New Driver’ app is deactivated.
What happens if I don’t update my app?
If you don’t move over to the new Veygo app, your journeys won’t be recorded properly, which could affect your policy and ability to remain on cover.
