Which Type of Bank Holiday Weekender Are You?

Everyone loves bank holidays but not always for the same reason! Which one are you?

by Eilidh

1. The Home Improver

For you, the Bank Holiday is there purely so you can get your house in order! You’ll spend the whole weekend bleaching your bathroom, doing the washing, hanging up pictures, rearranging the furniture, sorting out the garden and organising all of the built-up chaos. You’ll probably promise to yourself that you’ll keep on top of all these things, but we all know that you’ll be doing the exact same thing next bank holiday.

2. The Party Animal

Bank Holiday? More like Bank Holi-yay! An extra weekend day means an extra party day. Will your Bank Holiday Monday be spent nursing a three day hangover? Yes it will. Do you have any regrets? No you don’t!

3. The Road Tripper

Your idea of the perfect long weekend is getting your friends or family together and heading on the road! What better way to unload some steam than an in-car concert (featuring you and your passengers) and a short break (city or country – your choice)?

4. The Netflix Binger

Stock up on the snacks – it’s time to catch up on all of those series you’ve been meaning to watch! You’ll be spending the weekend smashing out Peaky Blinders, catching up on Better Call Saul and maybe you’ll even watch a cheeky rom-com to top off the weekend. Why on Earth would anyone leave their sofa if they don’t have to?

5. The Home Visitor

If you live away from your family, Bank Holidays are the perfect opportunity to go home to see them! Not to mention that you’ll probably get to eat not one, but three days worth of delicious, well-balanced meals thanks to mum & dad…

Hi I'm Eilidh 👋 I joined Veygo for a 3 month internship in June 2018 and loved it so much I decided to stay! I've been driving for 4 years and, despite being an awful singer, I am known to belt out performances of my fave songs in my car 👩‍🎤
